“Beauty is found in quiet understated forms, expressive structure, timeless materials, and carefully resolved details. Our designs celebrate light-filled open spaces with a strong connection to the site and landscape.”

Feldman Architecture is an award-winning residential design practice recognized for creating warm, light-filled spaces that are site-sensitive and carefully detailed. Highly collaborative in nature, the firm approaches design as a dialogue between client, design team, and site. Each project is an opportunity to create an innovative solution relevant to the project environs and tailored to a client's needs. Traditional material palettes such as concrete, wood, and steel, are used with new materials to create timeless forms.

Dedication to environmental responsibility is fundamental to Feldman Architecture's philosophy. Constructing and operating buildings is resource intensive and Feldman Architecture strives to minimize this impact by designing energy-efficient buildings that incorporate sustainable technologies and renewable materials. A growing public awareness of the importance of this mission and the proliferation of products and techniques that enable responsible construction is inspirational. Designers explore innovative and expressive ways to apply sustainable technologies and adaptations to traditional solutions which complement the firm's contemporary designs. The firm's Caterpillar project has earned the USGBC's LEED Platinum distinction, the first custom home of California's Central Coast to reach Platinum status and only the ninth in Northern California.

Feldman Architecture connects with the public and industry leaders through speaking engagements, www.GreenArchitectureNotes.com, a blog that shares information about green technologies and sustainable architecture, and by hosting home tours.
