Karl G. Smith Associates is an architecture and planning firm specializing in residential, institutional, and commercial projects. The firm enhances the environment by providing innovative, aesthetic solution to each project. A former principal of William Turnbull Associates, he formed Karl G. Smith Associates in 1991, and he has completed numerous private residences, remodels, in the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington State, Colorado, and Hong Kong.
Karl is a graduate of Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut, (B.A.,’64) and the University of Pennsylvania B. Arch, ’68 and M. Arch ,’72, with Louis I. Kahn.
