Founder Matthew Coates is an award-winning architect, with 12 years of sustainable design and consulting experience. He holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Illinois and received his undergraduate degree from Lawrence School of Design. His design experience ranges from multi-million dollar airports to single family residences. A recipient of numerous honors and awards, Matthew has been published in respected publications including: the Massive Change Exhibition, The Wall Street Journal, DWELL, Men's Journal, Environmental Design and Construction, Professional Builder, and The New York Times.
