A member of the American Institute of Building Design, Rick Faust spent nine years as a professional carpenter/designer before becoming a full time home designer. This extensive practical building experience informs his designs: he knows how to get the most livable house for the money. His one- story design for our Exclusive Studio Collection was commissioned by Houseplans.com to emphasize easy indoor-outdoor living. It draws inspiration from mid-century modern ranch houses, and particularly the work of ranch house popularizer Cliff May. |
