Stone accents and a welcoming covered front porch invite you into this 2130 sq. ft. modern farmhouse with 3 bedrooms and 2 Β½ baths. The central foyer is flanked on the left by a dedicated home office and on the right by a wide opening into the dining room. The foyer leads into the open living room with its 11’ high ceiling. The living room features a linear gas fireplace in a stone surround with an accent wall above. Flanking the fireplace are built-ins for convenient storage as well as for display. A lighted soffit spans over the built-ins, providing more display space and atmospheric lighting. Wide patio doors lead to a large covered back porch that has an area for outdoor cooking and a screened porch section. The L-shaped kitchen features a large island with an eating bar that will accommodate up to five people. The kitchen window has a pass-through to the outdoor cooking area on the back porch. The dining room is immediately adjacent to the kitchen, and next to the dining room is a large walk-in pantry with a prep counter. A short hall leads to a powder room, drop zone, laundry room, garage entrance, and the primary suite. The primary suite includes his and hers closets, double sinks, a private toilet room, curbless shower and free-standing tub. The en suite has direct access to the laundry room. At the other end of the home are two secondary bedrooms with walk-in closets, a compartmentalized bath, and a study or play alcove. All rooms have a 9’ ceiling except the vaulted living room. The oversized side-load 2-car garage has an 18’x8’ overhead door, with space for storage and a work area, and an insulated mechanical closet.

FAQs

Are designs on Houseplans ready to submit to my building department for permitting?

It depends on where you're building. Our plans contain enough information for a professional builder to construct your home, but your local government may require additional information before permitting. We strongly advise that you talk with your builder before you get started. If you are building for yourself, we recommend visiting your local building department to start your diligence. Read more here.

Can I make changes to a plan?

Absolutely! Our modification service allows you to customize almost anything - whether it's adding an extra garage bay, adjusting square footage, changing the roof pitch, or more, the plan modification service is a great value and can be completed quickly. Additionally, if you purchase an electronic plan set (PDF or CAD), you may have the option to make changes locally. CAD files offer the most flexibility for custom edits. Just let us know what you're thinking, and we’ll provide an estimate and timeframe to get started. Learn more here.
