SAVED!
One-story barndominium floor plans combine rustic charm and big garages with the conveniences of ranch-style living. Many of these designs boast open floor plans and outdoor living space, which help the plan feel larger than it actually is. A wraparound porch is also helpful in a different way: it helps draw your eye away from the (usually) extra large garage, making the house look and feel more like a home than a shop.
If you're interested in a one-story layout, but you're concerned that the primary suite won't have enough privacy, look for a plan with split bedrooms, where the secondary bedrooms live on one side of the home, while the primary lives on the other.
Some ranch barndominium plans offer basements or walkout basements (we count "stories" as levels above ground). Consider a basement if you think you might need extra space. On the Product Detail Page, select the foundation that suits your needs. If you don't see the foundation you want, give us a call.
While the term barndominium is often used to refer to a metal building, this collection showcases mostly traditional wood-framed house plans with the rustic look of a barn. Some barndo designs below feature metal framing, so review the product details carefully, and call us with any questions.
