Third quarter 2014 plan sales data from Houseplans.com appear in the following infographic, and show what are the most popular home plans per region of the country. According to Houseplans.com CEO James Roche, the data also show the continuing popularity of the Craftsman style -- though that is slowing down -- along with a markedly rising interest in the Modern style. The interest in very small homes of 500 sq. ft or less is way up, while the interest in very large houses of 5,000 sq, ft.or more is on the wane. This trend parallels the increasing media coverage of the so-called "Tiny House Movement."
