Forming a distorted H in layout, the 1,848 sq. ft. house divides into two wings connected by a glazed entry.
One wing is the "evening zone" for sleeping, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. A tower loft containing the fourth bedroom adds an element of surprise and provides views of the surrounding landscape. The other wing is a vaulted "daytime zone" for living, dining, and cooking.
Joining the two small floor plans, on both sides of the glass entry, are decks with covered and uncovered
sitting areas. Long windows in the kitchen, cleverly form a sort of glass backsplash along the counter and wrap the dining alcove.
A pair of French doors opens the living area to the deck and view. Built-in cabinetry flanks the fireplace, maximizing the airy uncluttered feel.
